Ford Tames 100e van,cooper muffler,sounded like crap. Next car 6 months later Morris Minor with 1100 engine,same 1st acc was cooper muffler,much better sound,then widened steel wheels and Goodyear G800 tyres,yahoo.

77 vauxhall chevette 4 door
fitted rostyles with fatter tyres, a centre console and an old VAUXHALL numberplate lamp on the dash as a courtesy light (and to hide some cracking).My morrie should be a longer story once its finished :P

Wow, G800s were the shit for a while there. Dunlop SPs were the other one or Michelins if you could afford them.

My first car was a 1947 J14 Vauxhall, bought in 1970 for $15 at the tender age of 15 years. By the age of 18 ???extras??? fitted included 186 X2 Holden,(steel crank, star fire rods, Yellow Terra head, XU1 cam, roller rockers, 350 Holley & headers), Toyota 4 speed, HR front end, Austin Maxi R&P, Triumph steering column, Falcon pedal box, HR/HQ rear end and a gold crushed velvet interior (cringe!).
