ive got a 98 l200 triton with the 4g64 motor,can you tell me if i have to strip the whole dash out to replace the heater core please

What side is the heater hose (one that goes through the firewall) on under the bonnet! Most cars I've dealt with its located on the passenger side, so you only have to remove glove box and fascias etc.

the hoses go through the pasenger side firewall

Yea, if your lucky you can get it out without removing the dash pad. Evap for the air con normally right in behind the glove box. Heater core right beside it on the right. not a 5min job either way sorry

If you take the seats out you get more room to lie on your back and undo all the hose clips.

You don't need a heater.summer's coming.
