Is there another way to tell if you need a wheel alignment apart from wait until you see abnormal wear on your tyres! Reason I ask is, I've just done the tie rod end on my van the part just doesn't look right! It fits and its the correct part listed for it. (part is from repco not dealer).

Aftermarket parts don't always look the same as genuine, you should have a wheel alignment done if you've replaced a tie rod end
