I have a KG11 Sylphy with the abs light on, have scanned it and is coming up with the code C1108. Googled that and it came up with. ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit) cannot identify sensor pulses, because of large gap between wheel sensor and sens rotor. Any one come accross this code before and know how to fix it! The abs sensor and the pump are both ok.

Have you checked the wheel speed sensors for any damage, or have there been repairs carried out in hub area eg cv or boot replaced!

Speed sensor is ok, the hub has not been removed so no problem there. My mechanic has recommended replacing the inner bearing, I don't know what that is going to achieve and don't really want to spend the money on a new one just to find out thats not the problem.

What electrical tests have you done on the sensor!

It's definitely not the sensor, we tried replacing it and still had the same problem
