How do I remove the inside door pannel in order to replace the part that stops the door from swinging wide open!

Take it to a panel beater.
The part is called a check strap.
It's not a major for a panel shop to do for you.

Most car door panels are held on by a series of plastic studs around the perimeter. Starting at the bottom corner, insert a wide flat lever and the first stud should be visible and will pop out when pressure is applied. continue all the way round.
There will probably be some screws hidden under little pop out plugs around the door handle/armrest.
Google Peugeot forums and ask for specifics on one of them if you cant figure it out from there.
