van is over in the Islands, I'm looking for a part.Regulator for the Alternator.
Have called a couple of places and the two prices I have been given is $750 +gst and $950 +gst.That is for a whole brand new alternator.
I'm in Auckland. I know nothing about vans.just tring to find a part - does this price sound right to you guys who may know more than I do!

Hi - thanks :)Ummm.would I need the part to show them!Sorry - completely 'lost' as I know nothing about van parts.I don't actually have the part on me.as the van is overseas.

Take it to autoelectriciansif hes any good he willadapt 1 or put external 1 onfor dam sight less than 750 $. Todays motortrades just throw it away & replace with new as more $ in it . Orget a used 1 from wreckers
