hey guys just a quick question regarding my Van, When cold my van is fine no dash lights on voltage on the battery is around 14.5v, when the van is warmed up there's not charge on the battery 12v and i get the Christmas dash. any ideas on why theres charging when cold but not when warm?

Things heat up when hot, gaps open etc, time for another alternator I thinks :o)

probably the regulator/diodes in the alternator starting to fail.

Could be would pay to drain ya fuel filter water sedimenter and make sure the vacuum pump on the back of the alternator is checked. As yon diesel will Christmas tree with various inputs. Hence why i asked if it was a AAA or a D cell- lol.
Also double check wiring by alternator or get a GOOD auto sparkie on to it.
