Does anyone out know how to replace a broken wiper linkage, or should I bite the bullet and take it to a Toyota dealership.Toyota have priced the parts at $345 which seems expensive,any help would be much appreciated.

Depending on the model hiace ,but as the little kid in the building advert says "itsa big job" most hiace have to have dash etc out just to get at the wiper linkage.Toyotas price will probably cover the 2 pivots and the connecting links,which isn't excessive.The labour will be the killer ,unless you are very competent to do it yourself.

I had mine done this year. Labour cost and new after market parts were about $800 Requires removal of dash.

Thanks for your replies, Toyota quoted me $485 for complete job so it sounds ok to me.

yea years ago my mate had a quote for a toyota water pump replacment similar to that and then the bill read 750$ . you better make sure that quote is binding if you go ahead .
