Yes I disagree! No one has tryed for years so thats not the best of much compared to today. Skylines with around 1000hp have gone 376kph not 346kph that was just one that came to NZ and had more in it anyway! With better aero parts, todays technology and some more development I think its not that unrealistic! As for your maths I dont disagree as im not that good at that sorta maths and I have not much idea on where you get those figurs but I dont agree without detailed specs, drawings, testing and much much elce!

I know very well what it costs to build a car im halfway through another project which is a RB30DET in something but I also know that just because something is something, that does not mean it cant be something elce better! to many people live in the past or a sheltered box! And now your trying to compare me to know nothing or a boy racer or what ever! well it just shows how you are.

1ollie elce=else. Not saying it cant be done. Have seen how things have to be designed then put into practicle use with cad design. However designing it then making it fit and doing what it was made to do.not so easy and horribly expensive make no mistake about that. If you think you can do it hey make your dreams come true and go for it. I dont knock people for that. But I still stick to my first taking the piss comment because I know how it works.

Ok ok ok but if it was 500k on an allready built 350kph++ car im 99% sure it could happen! Ok I know I now retract a bit of my previous 500k statement(which im sorry for) it would not happen! well not on a ground up build on a standard car as you will easly loose 300k+ on the motor & accociated parts build, gearbox, diff, suspension, chassis, cage and safety gear leaving only 200k or less for the body which would obviously be pushing it if you want to go much over 400.00001kph

There's a nice exotic American supercar that is as fast as the Veyron haha, the beautiful Saleen S7 twin turbo, yes.Don't know if it's faster than the limited edition Veyron though.

For christs sake read it properly would you! for the second time I have to say NOT 5-10K on the car! if you read it I said on the body kit! if you had read the rest of what I have said you will see I know a bit about what it costs to build a car like that. Ohh ok topspd because mate had a badly built car they must all be unreliable. Drag racing has some relavent points to compare but in the end your trying to go as fast as posible in a 400m line, not in a few kms so alot is different

the 370 kp/h "skyline" your fantasizing over is hardly a nissan anymore is it .
maybe if you added 2 RB 30's together & bored them out to 8 liters & added quad turbos & then mid mounted it (only 2 seats) & completely redone the bodywork so it had some real aerodynamic efficiency you could have yourself a. . . . . . .oh wait. . . . . . .
