The car you trying to talk about actualy is a Veilside R34 and was back before 2000 I believe! The HKS drag car came over in about 2006 and never ended up racing and it has not had millions put into it haha maybe about $1million over its whole life! lol. And no the 7.6 second HKS drag would not last long in a street sence due to its extreme power build(maybe 1500WHP!) but why would you expect it to! an its still not bad for a car with 10 year old technology

yeh seems alot of people dont realise what limits your top speed is HP vs Drag.Skylines have terrible aerodynamics well everything r34 and older.thats why they need around 1000hp to hit 300Kph. whereas a ferrari 360 can do it with 400hp. hell most skyline loving boy racers would probably scoff at 400hp.
anyway not much a fan of the veyron, its ugly and they overhype it as being the worlds fastest car.There are other cars out there that are far better looking and just as fast. The saleen s7 tt is one damn nice car sure it doesnt have the topspeed of the veyron but is it really neccesary to do 268mph rather than 250!The SSC Ultimate Aero would be my number 2 pick, thats a whole lotta car looks better than they veyron and is still faster.just. but who really tests this stuff and is the test equipment really precise enough to register a 2mph difference at that speed. most car speedos arent anywhere near that accurate.
But if i had the money wanted a kick ass supercar it would have to be the Hennessy venom gt, not a huge fan of pushrod v8s but holy shit a supercharged LS9 in an elise that thing is nuts.
