Hey there! Im wandering if you know the procedure to program in a 2 button bmw key for the immobilizer and remote locking! I have looked online but i get mixed ideas and non seam to work! the Car is a 1997 e36 320I m-sport
unfortunitly that doesnt work :( the first part doesnt really work either as. this is the ONLY key and cant unlock it remotely( unless it means unlock with key!) otherwise I do everything. the led starts flashing on the key. then i press the unlock button and nothing happens, and this is while im pointing at the rearview mirror. so either the process is wrong or the module is disconnected. right! so were would i find the module!

Thanks for that, And yes, i did have to sit and read a few instructions a few times and still only half got what it ment haha, I will pass on this method to my cousin, as he isnt here right now and see if it works for him.
edit: though i dont remember a bump under the mirror. only the massive knob that adjusts the angle of the mirror.
