Hi Boys, My mate recently brought a 02 Jeep cherokee V8 petrol, with 100,000 on the clock. It has a strange noise coming from the center console, that only occurs on breaking and some times over bumps in the road. On invesigation it sounds like other jeeps with the quad drive system do the same, however many dont as well. Has anyone come across this! Any ideas welcomed. Secondly Last night he drove it and the power steering developed a loud whirring noise, still works fine, no obvious steering fluid leaks! Any ideas team!

Also he had questions about warranty implied or otherwise, Jeep was brought from a dealer, and he has had it exactly a month yesterday! KAZ may be able to help on this one!
