I own a Volvo 850 T5R and its a brilliant car. Sure, its had its small share of problems, but its still just a car with an engine etc. No different to a Japanese car or similar. I'll be doing the cam belt on my own soon as well. There is nothing magical, secretive or sacred about the cars. If they were such crap as many are saying - the company would have gone bust years ago - but seems there are still millions on the road and just as many being produced. Hell - Volvo even won Bathurst in 1997 with an S40. Brock raced an 850 with great success. Just because one person has a bad run with a vehicle dont make them all crap.
