so the box is shagged, whats best to do! its a fwd 1500 auto, what boxs will fit (if any) apart from the 1500 ones! cheaper/easier/better to put a bigger fwd motor in! cheers for any hints

Most cars are around seven dollars per plate, there are three to five plates per pack and generally four packs, one band maybe, add oil, gasket kit, torque converter flush and it is cheaper than doing a gearbox plus clutch. and lasts longer.
