Follow the wiring back from the headlight until you get power. Or run a new wire from the relay and one from the headlight to earth.

there is a large relay in the engine bay, on the drivers side strut tower, I "think" its brown, check its contacts/give it a wack.

I had one of those, it turned out to be a broken solder connection on one of the relays that #4 describes above. From memory I think I had to solder it from the underside of the PCB.

Very common fault in those 9/10 times its the brown relay

Nissan also have a fail safe in headlight switch.
when switch dies left hand head light doesnt work.
Headlight switch needs replacing if fuses are fine

To all the above, thank you. Light now fixed. Was a wire in the relay that the auto electrician soldered. #4 was the closest/correct.
