Can any of the experts out there tell me what DTE and a warning beep means when you first turn the key on (AU XR6) No owners manual

Distance To Empty . try putting some fuel in it, if it keeps doing it there may be a fault. My understanding is that you cannot disable the beep at start up, so as long as you know what it is it shouldn??

comes on and beeps at 80km to empty from memory and beeps every 20km from there,hazy memory.
