Toyota Prado Ute?

I saw one of these in Orewa today going through the McD's drivethru.
Has anyone seen that before! Was four door and had an Aluminium tray on the back. Never seen one before so probably was custom built. Not a bad looking setup with longer wheelbase than standard (by about 2m) and was towing a quad bike on trailer. And, yes, it did take the trailer through the drive thru.

No it must be a one off, there are a few twin cab Hiluxes about with extended chassis that accepts a full length single cab style wellside which gives you the best of both.Have also seen Safari's and Terranos converted to flat deck utes, on the latter its a good way to get around the seatbelt mount rust problem, cut the rear of it off and fit the rear wall and window from a D21 Datsun/Navara ute cab.Hey presto a cheap 4x4 ute with full electrics, auto trans and comfy seats and suspension thats a bit more comfortable

Yes Intrade, that is very similar. One I saw had much tidier lines about the rear wheelarch but was the same idea, that one has a locker there making use of space behind rear seat. Is this common conversion in Aussie! Anyone!
