any one know the factory standard height for this! all of a sudden its failing a WOF on its height. has low profile tyres. never been a problem before.have tried 3 different places.!

Not sure of the factory height, but there must be 100mm clearance between the road and the lowest structural point of the car.
Does it have factory suspension!
What size wheels and tyres!

Factory height should still place it about 120-130mm above the road. Mine was lowered and sat just on the 100mm limit. There should be about 2-3inch gap from the wheel arch to the wheel at the front on standard suspension models.

tires are 205/40/17 and even AA passed it on the height. They only had a few things wrong which I have fixed but went passed the 28 days. Went somewhere else and they found different things wrong. The only thing they both found wrong was the steering arm ball joint.

205/40 R17 is too small, it should be 205/45 or 215/40 if it's a 4 stud model or 215/45 if it's a 5 stud model. It wont make a big difference to ride height but your speedo will be over-reading more than 5% (on top of the normal 5-10% a speedo usually over-reads anyway).
