I got bored earlier today and looking at my daughters mag wheels i thought I could clean them. Recently a friend gave me 5 litres of sugar soap so I thought it was worth a go. I mixed some up, about 200mls sugar soap and filled the rest of a 1 litre spay bottle with some warm water. I sprayed a wheel then used a soft car wash brush to scub the wheel a bit. The sugar soap worked really well and got rid of all the baked on brake dust residue that usually stayed there whenever the car was previously washed. All the wheels now look like they are new. Brilliant stuff. It also worked really well to clean around the engine bay of my boys car as well.It looks like I will be using the sugar soap for a while as I still have 4.8 litres of it to use.
