hey i have a u.s wagon, 96 and i went to go to work this morning and the battery light and is it the hot exhasust light! were staying on, does anyone know what this means!

yeah we just had a look and the belt is very loose but still puzzled as to why the other light is staying on! what happens if you drvie with a loose belt coz i work half an hr away and dont want to get stuck on the highway if anything happens

Charging fault, charge light circuit controls cat light circuit. You should get to a auto sparky before battery fails if you turn off all electrics heater/ac lights ect!

Other light is to indicate there is a fault with either the catalytic converter (blocked) or the O2 sensor attached to it.

Have you tried tensioning the belt! Replacing is is cheap and pretty easy;)

They'll actually both light on Hondas if you have an alternator problem.
