lol yeah it's stuck on there proper. Tried to loosen it via chisel, but the nut was so soft it just went straight through

file two flat sides on it, and get a pair of vice grips on it!

if the stud is a push in type perhaps grind back of stud off and punch out then replace stud.
i have never tried it but its a idea

angle grind a slit at 9 o'clock and get a flat head and hammer it down

big.b-lil.c, Mar 14, 3:16am
why wait untill 9 o'clock it will be dark by then

petemun, Mar 14, 3:21am
because the dew will help loosen it

Use a dril to drill through the centre of the stud. Start with a small drill bit about 4mm and work your way up to about 12mm where the wheel nut will come of as you drill through. Remove the wheel and replace the stud.Job done in 10 minutes. Did it last weekend on a trailer hub with out removing it.

How do you do this without taking the wheel off!

a18a, Mar 14, 5:01am
mean. just need to get some good drill bits then

make sure it is not a rear wheel stud on a 4wd mitsi lancer - bit of a job to get the stud done :)

I would get rid of the outside dags, then hammer a tight fitting socket on (Pref someone elses) Hook a rattle gun on, and it might just loosen. If ya lucky.

Correct for THIS job

Anything else will probably bugger the wheel stud hole.
Even if you can't get the stud to break WITH the drill bit after drilling it out, you should then be able to twist the wheel enough to break the last bit of studs thin wall left.
