My first bike was a Suzuki wolf bought from Len Perry in Greenlane.
Great wee bike.

Only new vehicle I have ever bought.
Something is wrong here!

My last road bike was a 1981 GSX1100, God that thing had grunt!

Hard to believe it was 30 years ago!

JR Law, your chances of getting a spark to make it fire are much better with a battery in place.

jrlaw, Jun 23, 12:27am
budgel thanks I thought it may need a battery

ok list it next week ,$2800.motor only.

bagal, Jun 25, 7:20am
What would a 74 Motosport be worth! Was used a road bike for a few years but been sitting in a nice dry shed since 1980.

countrypete, Jun 25, 8:51am
Depends on condition - eg how much rust on the chrome bits (not that they had much) and whether it's complete.Could be anywhere between $1500 and $4,000There's been a '76 model listed several times for $2500, but the earlier ones are more desirable.I used to travel Wellington to Napier regularly on my '73 model, back in the late '70s, cruising at 60 - 65mph.Never could kill it.

Mine had a different tank and high pipes and was designated a 125 D for Jap domestic market.

I remember Two wheels magazine had been running a series of technical articles on hotting up two strokes.
A couple of months later a reader wrote in to say that he had followed their advice on modifications and subsequently taken out a 125cc drag racing record on one of these bikes.

iman007, Jul 30, 8:09pm
yeah, mine was a 125 twin pipes and dual tachos as opposed to the wolf, very tidy bike though, thanks anyway robin.I had set of expansion chambers as well, man she flew, wonder what i did with them!
