Its got a leak, simple as that, it can be from hoses, water pump, O-rings, pipes or even the radiator itself. If a refill and pressure test by a garage or radiator specialist doesn't reveal anything leaking externally, you've probably got a blown head gasket and/or cracked head.

There are two holes in the cars cooling systemone hole is for putting water in and there appears there to be another letting water outfind out where it is

drive the car till warm when water is full, park somewhere dry and let the car idle for 10mins on the spot check for water under engine on the ground, turn it off and sit for 10mins, check for water again, any water leaked! check radiator, hoses and look at where water hoses go onto engine for leaks,
check the carpet in the cabin area for wetness, may have a heater core leak, if all ok, when the car is cold take the radiator cap off and idle the car till warm, if you have some bubbles in radiator id take to mechanic and get them to test if it has blowen head gasket

if it had a blown head gasket, would it not have a gray dipstick.idle like crap etc! doing none of these.

I have noticed the front passengers side is soaking with water .thought nothing of it as we have a drive on a serious slope.no garage/carport .assumed it was rainwater

Either that or you have a leaking heater core.

Is the water on the inside of the car or on the ground outside!

juddy1, Jun 23, 8:22am
inside the car.

and outside after rain lol

Sounds a lot like heater core is damaged.A garage should be able to help you find the leak with a pressure test.Far easier and less stress to get it checked by a mechanic before you end up with a cooked engine.
