There was a guy turned up at the local track in one, it had a 3sgte in it. God knows why, went fast though.

slarty45, Jun 5, 9:30pm
Agree, never seen so many grease nipples on a semi modern car.
My mates one would have lasted much longer if he bought a grease gun, 2 river crossings on driveway.
As for the manually adjusted cam chain, he neved did that either.
It took alot of abuse before it said, ah bugger it.

toyota MR-S. pretty lethal handling being MR and 50/50 F/R weight ratio. 0-100 in 6.8s using a 140hp 1zzfe engine thanks to its 970kg kerb weight. chuck in 190hp 2ZZGE (same engine as a lotus elise) then that's another story. good base for a track car. better than any jap lightweights, even the ae86. they're pretty cheap nowadays

sadly, most are driven by chicks and hairdressers.

vtecnet, Jun 6, 3:53am
I'm going to say. the 92-96 Prelude Vtec in manual, everyone seems to hate these cars, even the Honda Fan boy's claim that they are slow and heavy, however when new they did 14.6 @98mph for 1/4 mile time standard from the factory and 0-60mph in under 6.5, which in 1992 was faster then allthe other Hondas (except for the NSX) for the non believers heres a review from 1993 http://www.youtube.com/watch!v=ueWQu_O5YYo

Of course. they are rather ugly looking, but most cars from Japan were from that Era.
