3500 wont give you much van unless you buy some crap. You could get a toyota townace that needs another grand servicing to bring it up to scratch for like 3000$ its what i done when my mate said he only had 4 grand to spend. he now just drives it as he rather buys alcohol for the other grand then to spend it on new timing-belt and waterpump.a good van your looking at 8 to 12 grand like the new townace noha or there like

i would cross off your list mitsubishi and nissan vans.
