ive got a rd28 diesal in my 91 laurel and it wont start.glowplug lamp on the dash just flashes.was running fine up till now,went last nite but wont go this morning.would dead glowplugs do this!.how do i check them!.or is the flashing lamp a warning for a blocked fuel filter etc! can anybody help.

I don't know jack about Diesels to be perfectly honest, but my grand-dads tractor from circa 1950's has glowplugs. Have you tried a different glow plug/glow plugs !

is it the glow lamp or the fuel filter lamp!
