l/h front hub a bit loose was the reason, anyone know how to repair

get the bearing renewed or else fit a second hand hub.Make sure the CV joint nut is at the recommended torque first.

Is the CV nut tight!
Or is it bearing wear in the hub!

Perhaps ask a mechanically minded friend they could teach so you could learn a thing or to and then you can get it fixed properly at the same time.

Nope, not tapered type bearings like you may be thinking of, more like large roller bearings pressed into a hub.

i have no idea sorry, just a dumb blonde female lol i was at work and good old mum took it in for me and the paper came back with that, they told her its not a major problem, but no one seems to know how to fix it for me, and i can't really afford to stick in garage at this stage
