How do I remove gearbox/handbrake linkage(!) to remove and replace belts and a few other things on YM30 liteace

Take all the plasic covers off first. It will become self explanatory when you start "digging".

Yeah I got that part easy enough, but there was the problem with the floor plate(!) attached to gearknob, handbrake.

there be a 12mm bolt underneath the plate once you got all bolts out it will move and apear stuck you have to go with rachet in engine bay and feal- undo the one bolt holding the handbrake cable to the plate the seat bolts on. should be self explenetory. you also undo the cover on gear leaver and undo this also.or you simply chuck the whole plate in tha back bending the cables attached once you undone the ones stopping you from lifting it off the floor.
