Subaru 1500cc Manual

Just wanted to know if anyone in here own one to ask what there fuel economy is like.I understand Subaru is expensive but thought cos it only a 1500 and a manual that it would be better on fuel.But who better to ask then someone who actually owns one.

I have a 1993 imprezza 1500 manual and normally get around 7.6 l per 100kms.

just make sure the cambelts have been done as this costs as much as the car.well not tthat much.but exspensive.

should be a non interferance motor that wont do any damage if the cam belt brakes. mate has an auto one, piss poor power, reliable enough except for the auto trans 1st smashing the flex plate to bits and 3 moths later the trans itself failing (no reverse).
