i have a mates car on me at the moment that its getting some work done on it by my husband but im thinking of buying her a suprised personalised plate and not tell her - just put it on her car (a nice one of course) what else do i need to do once i put it on! does she need to sign something! i want to try and make it a suprise - thanks guys

Im not too sure about this. May be easier to buy the plate, get it made, then just put it in the car for her. But you could ask plates themselves if you can do it. I've never tried for someone elses car without them knowing.
