Did the box bolt up OK or did you have to wind it in with the bolts that last little bit!

I'm picking the latter.

had to bolt my bellhousing up to new box .smaleer bellhousing .used my old clutch fork and used dumy shaft off old box to centre and it seemed to bolt up ok .i did have to wind in last little bit yes

Its pointing to spigot bearing not matching new shaft or damaged putting it in

jmma, Apr 25, 9:58am
or input shaft to long and jamming on bearing

So measure up shaft and compare with an old box !

Perhaps you could try backing bell housing bolts off a little and see if it works then to confirm this.
