Im looking at covering my exhuast manifold with "exhaust heat wrap", its on a rb20det stainless steel topmount turbo manifold. my question is, how much exhaust heat wrap will i need to buy to cover it all! , 5m 10m 15m or more!

depending on how well you are at doing it , 10m does not go far

cheers, and yeh i want to cover it realy well, 30 meters should be plenty!

It will rust underneath. Get it hpc coated or similar

30m should be enough to do headers and downpipe
depends what they are made of weather they will rust or not. if just a mild steel get them coated to further reduce that heat.

alot of the stainless manifolds cant be covered with heat wrap, this can cause them to crack-before you do it find out from whoever made it it the stainless is compatable or not.

Heat wrap is a pain to put on and it doesn??

Yep spot on,also if its a cheap stainless manifold it will crack anyway.

I thought they don't recommend wrapping any exhaust thats been coated.

it wont rust and wont need to be hpc coated etc, as its stainless,

only stainless coated will crack,a full stainless wont.
its easy as to do,well once youve done 15+ manifolds,,it last for bloody years when done right, but use some fuse wire to do it tight in stages then use the proper tie wire thats supplied and cv bands at start and end.
