hi guys wasnt sure were to post this but just bought a fish tank off TM light was ment to have a lose wire but got it home and found out the ballst is screwed is there anyway around this to make the light go i dont think there is but thought id ask cheers

Feed carrots to the fish and then, like rabbits, they will see in the dark and not require lighting.

you may find it cheaper just to buy a new flouro with an electronic ballast. Are you sure its not the starter!

it doesnt have a starter they dont use one on this model

replaced the ballast with one that had a starter got it working but this one gets very hot is that normal!
