Hi, just coming home on the motorway and one of the two belts that drives the fan, alternator! and I think air-cond unit broke. Will the car be alright running on one belt until I can get to a garage in the next couple of days! The car is a Mazda Bounty 2002 2.5 Turbo Diesel Ute. Seems to be running fine, but just wanted to ask anyone better qualified. Cheers

assuming the remaining drive belt is OK, yes.You need to check this carefully and get it sorted TOMORROW.

Thanks, made a hell of a racket as the belt was flying around the engine bay. I better check it hasn't damaged any hoses etc.

What is the worse case scenario if the other belt breaks! Car will quickly overheat I'm guessing!

Spot on! And you don't want to overheat those engines, they need all the cooling they can get.
