Hi Guys, I have a lady customer with a 98 caldina 3sfe and 130k's so it's not been thrashed. the levels are ok. will a flush make a difference or shall i send it to a tranny specialist. It shudders going up hills.

just because its a lady doesnt mean to say it hasnt been thrashed, lots of them reverse fail to stop then slap it into drive and accelerate fairly hard to pull away, this inturn ruins the box, yes they are designed to slip, but that sorta treatment it was not designed for

My car (not a Toyota) had a shudder when trying to change gear,shudder disappeared with a flush and new ATF.
