I was wondering if anyone could help me, I have a 99 Altezza and it has started to hop when im driving.I did notice today that the temp was about 4 notches off the red.Its just over half way, dont think it has ever run that high.Any suggestions would be great

Its like your running out of petrol but not, doesnt do it all the time though. There is water in it as well, sorry not mechanically minded! Was wondering if there was something wrong with the thermostat!

If it's overheating, then you have issues with the car.
Stop driving it completely.When it is cool, check the water level.
Don't drive it, ring a mechanic.You risk bigger repair bills the more you drive it.

Get a flashlight and take off the petrol filler cap. Look as deep as you can, if you can see a couple of things that look a bit like long things, that will be the problem. Now get a carrot and wave it around over the filler hole. Stand back a bit. Now watch as a rabbit comes out. Hop gone. No mechanic needed.
