looking at buying an altezza will be traveling about 50-80km a day on the open road so what one will be a smoother drive and best Fuel Economy out of the 4cylinder or 6 cylinder. Will be spending up to $10000

I used to have an RS200 they are great fun especially in the manual on the open road. However; they can easily drink a bit. So I agree a AS200 (6 cylinder) uses less on the open road, and are very smooth to drive in comparison. A bit less power also.

My partners rs200 (auto) would get around 8.5L per 100km around town driving and 7.5L per 100km open road. My mates rs200 (manual) saw similar figures. I drove the auto quite a lot, and my mate drove his without a light foot. Both cars have seen very tidy fuel figures.

As200 will be smoother. RS200 slightly more economical IF you can resist the temptation. My RS200 manual gets around 7.7l/100km, and it costs me around $70 a week with a 70km round trip commute and some weekend running.
