anyone know what these are like on gas! there seems to be so much info that i can't figure out what I'm looking at. I'm looking at buying one, it's not the sir model just the standard 2.3L vtec engine not sure which actual engine model that is.

Automatic ones will use around 10L/100kms overall. On a long trip 8.5 to 9L/100km.

Pretty accurate. Our old 96 fully loaded with 5 people on board can manage 7.5 on the open road in the right conditions.

Yeah, if driven conservatively they get great mileage, particularly the manual ones.An oldermate of mine has been driving his at around 95kph because he had a young pup on board and was blown away by how good the fuel consumption was with smooth driving and reduced speeds.
