Want to insure a an unregistered fresh import and drive it about to get the car complied etc. (have recently registered as a trader and obtained dealer plates). The AA says they can't insure a car without it being registered, so who knows who will insure it for me! may only want a few weeks cover, cheers.

Ring an insurance broker. You'll need all sorts of cover if you are going into business, not just for the car you a driving around in.

jgoater I'm sorry but you can't insure a vehicle for road use whilst it does not have its first WOF. Once it has one theres no problem but untill then its only covered for stationary damage. Id recommend giving IC Frith a ring08 8204849 they are my broker
