Dose anyone know how much it costs annually to insure a caravan.We are about topurchased a 3 berth 1980 model and are thinking of keeping it on site in a caravan park.Thanks.

We have a 4 berth 1979/80 and it is insured for $9000 incl the awning, we pay something silly like $11 a month for it through State

Make sure your policy is an agreed value one. If you ever do make a claim, most of them will under-value it and you'll never replace it with what they pay out. Agreed value ain't the same as you saying "I want to insure it for $10,000" - in that event they'll take your dosh (worked out as a % of the $10k) but then if the actual value isn't agreed and included as agreed in the policy, they won't ever pay out that much. Legalised gambling I call it.
