They say NZ has more sheep than people, but now I'm begining to wonder.

Everyone.after me.

"We aren't individuals, we all buy Toyota"
"We aren't individuals, we all buy Toyota"

Toyota is the most uninspiring, boring motor car you could ever buy, but hey.

"We aren't individuals, we all buy Toyota.

A bit more than slightly. That must equate to a whole lot of sophisticated features shitting themselves.

craig04, Feb 16, 1:05am
No one is saying that Toyota's are exciting. They are stating that they are reliable. So, I'm assuming the point of your post is to voice your confusion over the NZ sheep to people ratio.

usdefault, Feb 16, 1:12am
Assumption is the mother of all feck ups craig.

trdbzr, Feb 16, 2:21am
That one must have cost you quite a few brain cells

mugenb20b, Feb 16, 2:27am
It's 'male_timaru'.

mugenb20b, Feb 16, 2:30am
Typical comment from a d.head w.ker who has no idea about what models Toyota are capable of manufacturing.

akaniva, Feb 16, 2:33am
You don't get it. A Corolla is so reliable that it doesn't matter whether it's done 50,000 or 150,000km it will still go for years without trouble. Many Hondas go for several hundred thousand km with only normal servicing and no Eurocrap wallet-draining failures along the way.

trdbzr, Feb 16, 2:42am
lol why isn't he posting from his normal trademe account! did his balls drop off or something!

mugenb20b, Feb 16, 2:43am
Well, I think it's him. They both have the same style of talking (or should I say typing). I asked 'usdefault' if he was m_t. Got no reply back.

trdbzr, Feb 16, 2:44am
Lol yeah I saw that in the other two threads, whenever you mentioned that usdefault was MT, he stopped posting in them lol

mugenb20b, Feb 16, 2:47am
He's also got another account. Pretty obvious though.'meathead_timar-

I wonder why then that there are so many Toyota's of all models out there with a very high % of satisfied customers.! Frankly Jazz you are absolutely trying a losing game of "Baffling everyone with absolute bullshit."
Who in their right mind goes into all the figures you bandy around here, I base my evidence on personal ownership of lots of different makes of cars over the last 45years and I know for a fact which ones are by far the most reliable of that mix of makes.
There's no limit to your drivel about Euro cars I'm afraid and most of it in my mind and lots of others is a total load of crap.
I'm not only talking from an ownership perspective but also working on cars etc for a living for around 16 years.
I guess that totally qualifies me to say categorically what I consider to be proven to be reliable and cost effective over the years.
That experience has absolutely told me what ones to avoid and what ones are worthwhile, and I have proven that for nearly 45 years plus of driving virtually most makes when I was in my motor trade days and as a professional driver for a long while also .amassing nigh on 7 million kms plus between cars I have owned( about 2 million kms on my own cars) and the rest being cars and trucks driven for various companies etc etc. ( but not necessarily every modelof those cars.)
There's no way in hell that I'd be swayed by all your clap trap on here ever.PERIOD.

Besides the BMW from years ago as you put it wasn't very old at all .like 4 years old was all and low km when I owned it.
Even the cars ( should I mention make .bugger yes I will around half a dozen Toyota Cressida's and Grande's of around that same years of the BMW that I had prior and subsequently were vastly superior in pretty much all ways.
Reliability, build quality comfort and surprising economy for a biggish car being the biggies , for gods sake Jazz I'm speaking from personal experience here, or doesn't that count in your delusional mind.
It's widely known that reliability of any vehicle is cost effective after all you can do a hell of a lot of driving and buy a hell of a lot of fuel for the cost of repairs that I have personally witnessed and dealt with on some of the euro stuff of even back in the 1970's and 1980's when I was in the motor trade.

wasser61, Feb 16, 3:15am
Yes Jazz but the $10,000 difference in a new car prices is a lot of k's, as you say that's $500 per year, so you would have to own the Toyota for over 20 years before it started to cost you more than the VW. The maths just does not add up.
And as much as I would hate to say it the reliability of the Toyota still plays a significant part of any decision in buying a new car.
And before you go on I have no affiliation with Toyota, but I am man enough to admit when one car is better than another, also I have just bought a new car for my wife and it was not a Toyota nor was it a VW.

can't be MT posting as usedefault cause his posts don't contain 'LOLOLOL' etc.

mugenb20b, Feb 16, 3:27am

Damn! Yeah, that's the one.

ema1, Feb 16, 3:35am
Oh no Jazz they weren't stupid, they essentually had the car foisted on them by a shonky deal initiated by the US GOVT and the USA would almost be one of the most corrupt countries on this planet.
Plus they admit it was bad for them.Toyota that is and it will only be a short time when they will rapidly disappear off the face of the earth, don't worry most folks are wised up on the claytons (Toyota) Chevrolet Cavalier debacle.

ema1, Feb 16, 3:40am
Seconded totally.

ema1, Feb 16, 3:40am
Seconded totally.
Perhaps Jazz should be in there with the 10 year olds learning maths.me thinks ! Seeing he dragged that out earlier as an example of useless argument.
The purchase price difference as mentioned here blows the math right out of the water on two counts.
1st Toyota's are cheaper to buy, and the country wide service backup is for more comprehensive and widespread, that makes for less down time thus cost effective.when required !
2nd They over the years are most likely to be cheaper to maintain.as various others have voiced with personal experience of owning both.

usdefault, Feb 16, 3:41am
Wow that's creepy as.do you save all of my past messages turdblazer!
