Has anyone experienced problems of any kind using Gull E85 biofuel in their Toyota vehicle!

Are the new Corolla's made to be run on E85!

Overall E85 costs more and gives you less km per litre when compared to running on petrol alone. Why bother! At the most just run it on E10.

I do not think so, the only one car I know in NZ that can is the new V6 and V8 Commodore. E10 is entirely different, it is only 10% ethanol.

Toyota certainly don't recommend it http://www.toyota.co.nz/Toyota+Owners/Biofuels+FAQs.htm

As a side point, I tried E10 in the Commodore (Up to E15 is OK) and 1/2 way into the tank of gas my Fuel level sensor fails. A few hundred bucks later I am not going to risk it again. May have been a fluke.maybe.

Thanks Everyone, We revisited the Toyota website armed with your comments and will be taking that tankful of E85 on a long day trip and filling up with E10 instead.
