We have an old 79 diesel volvo has a nissan engine still runs etc but is de reg and not warranted, does anyone know anyone in chch where we could sell this too, or best bet is an auction! do wreckers give no money really! do all wreckers take european cars! is one better than another! sorry for all the questions, it has been parked up stored but now has to be moved so we need it gone.

Expect $350 minimum from a wreckers - take nothing less - if it has the ld28 engine you can sell the engine alone for $300-$500 if still running well and has gearbox etc attached - they fetch quite good coin
Sell for $400 no reserve on here and say that is what wreckers will give you (and you have added the auction fees etc to that as listing on TM

It has the ld28 engine, its an older noisey engine but has been checked tostill run well, a wrecker would be easier if it was just picked up =o) May call a wrecker and neg it hehe
