is there a wire piece in a hole in the top of the seat where the plastic lever has un screwed from like in the hatch maybe sedan seats dont fold down

some sedans you cant fold seats down if it dont has som buttons plastic on top of seat or leaver on top side then it wont fold down you can also look from inside boot to figure if it can fold or not

From memory there is a lever at the botom of the backrest where it meets the seat squab.

If they don't fold down, you could just unbolt them.

It's a trick question.I'm pretty sure the sedan seats don't fold down at all.

From memory the sedan rear seats dont fold but the liftback do. The button was on the top of the rear seat back toward the outside and i cant rember weather you push it or pull it. try attaching a pair of vicegrips to the exposed thing youre talking about and pull or push it. Im guessing it originally had a button on it.
