Back to the Q, a shift kit that fits an re4 Skyline autobox should fit, 4wd/rwd should make no difference.

Cause the 1600kg wagon is just a skyline with a wagon body, do you know what that skline RE4 kit could be ie. model number!

all non turbo and turbo 2.0 skylines/cefiros/laurels use the re4, torque converters prob differ.
of the newer ones, the 2.5L TURBO and 2.0L NON Turbo laurels/stagea/skylines use the re4 (non tip tronic). the 2.5L non turbo use the re5, 5 speed auto.
