I have a 2006 Golf that currently has Bridgestone Potenza 225/45 R-17's fitted. Have already swapped front to rear previously so now need four new tyres. What recommendations would you make as an alround replacement! I know tyre tech is always improving so thought there may be a better option available now! Home is in the hills above Wellington so lots of twisty bits everyday to and from work. Don't tend to drive like a nanna so wear plus performance is important ( and tyre cost of course! ). I run Bridgestone MY01s on a gtb legacy and i have pushed them fairly hard at times and they have always held good grip wet or dry and they are wearing really well. I think price was around $170ea 17s.
