Use Iridiums, they aren't a 5 minute job to do. Don't bother putting the back bolt back in the cover either, it is a prick to get out and isn't needed - you will see what I mean when ya come to do it.
NGK Plugs are FR5EI-13 from memory, the factory Motorcraft plugs are just rebranded NGK anyway

I also usually clean the throttle body while the Air Intake is off.

Thanks, I thought it would be a bit of a job, so dont want to use iffy plugs, roughly how long would you allow for a first timer to change them on a BA!Thanks

yes do this I just did mine on our AU2 XR6 needed doingruns much better now

45-60 mins. Having a universal joint and short/long extensions will help as the back plug can be a pain to get into if you don't have the right length extension as well

Oh and make sure you don't lose the rubber grommets from under the cover - these hold the coils onto the plugs!
