Just to update you guys. I sat my full license test about a week ago and passed.
Brought along a supervisor just in case they check, but testing officer didn't.Test was easy

New Zealand may be one of these countries.A few years ago NZ testers were openly advertising guaranteed passes in Chinese language newspapers for example. I've also seen TV show's do 'stings' on this sort of corruption in the past.

Well done:)

Yeah it is. The full text is:

But the kicker is 88(3)(d). As soon as you pass the theory they issue you with a NZ licence (with a supervisor condition). SO even if you have been here well less than 12 months, your overseas licence is suddenly invalid.

What they used to do is not issue you with a NZ licence until you had sat your practical as well. I have no idea why it changed. Stoopid.

The 12 months thing is purely and simply because tourism (one of our biggest earners) would be dead in the water without it.

So you have had "almost a year" to solve this problem and you still have not!
