Nissan or Renault engine and running gear, asking as I have been asked to find one for a friend.

I think that those are based on a Nissan Micra, so it would be Nissan running gear, but await a Nissan expert to confirm that

Nissan and Renault share a lot now, the HR engine is a joint effort as is the platform

Thanks guys, rang Nissan Head Office and even they were a but unsure but it seems that the petrol engine is a Nissan and the Diesel is Renault.
