Help ! i replaced the glow plugs with new ones , the problem is now it wont glow when the key is turned at start up ! i put the old plugs back in and it worked fine so i put the new ones back in again and it wont glow , there is no click sound from the solenoid when key is on with the new plugs ! i tried starting the cold engine this morningbut it refused to fire but started wiht the old plugs back in friggin weird got me stumped has any body got any suggestions mush appreiciated

different voltage!check the numbers on plugs.

As above , If I recall right , most parts book say check numbers etc as more than one type fitted to these motors

Obviously you tested and had a valid reason to replace the glow plugs.- . NOT

3 or 4 different types for that engine. Probably wrong plug voltage .

test the resistance on the new ones you might of burnt them out if they were the wrong ones
